Hi everyone,

I know that I have not been around a lot but things have been really rough around here for the past few days.  Work has really been rough and really busy.  We got through one of the worst part of our year with no problem but it took a great deal of work.  The main thing was that I have been having a great deal of pain in my groin area.  At first it was a on and off type of thing but in the last week or so the pain has been constant.  I did a little feeling around and didn't like what I felt.

One of my male parts was larger than the other and a little hard.  This was not good.  I got to a doctor and they referred me to another.  Everyone checked everything out.  This was not very comfortable by the way.  The last doctor was really concerned.  He wasn't saying cancer but the idea sure was there.  I was scheduled for an ultrasound at the beginning of the week.  That was not a comfortable test.  The tech was what concerned me as she, 'yes it was a she', kept shaking her head at different parts of the test.  Now the last time a doctor/tech shook their head at me during a test I ended up having quad bypass.  So this was not a good omen to me.

It took a couple of days for the results to come back and they have been the longest days I have experienced in a long time.  The doctor called yesterday with the news.

No cancer.

They did say something was blocking the bloodflow and that was what was causing one to be larger than the other and the pain.  There was a lot of inflammation also.  He is thinking that it is an infection and put me on an antibiotic.  So far the pain seems to be lessening so maybe we have a winning idea here.

I still have a ways to go before all this is over but a least the big "C" is not part of it.
